The Story

From Actor to Filmmaker
to Marketing Architect

It started with a video camera and a dream of being on screen. Phil Brown left home to study acting in New York and then Los Angeles — and while that chapter shaped his ability to command a room and tell a story, it was behind the lens where everything clicked.

Teaching himself to film and edit by creating content with fellow students, Phil landed production work with Disney Channel, Hallmark Hall of Fame, and a Hollywood trailer studio before a single freelance real estate shoot took him somewhere unexpected — first to Costa Rica, then to St. Barths, and eventually to a full-time role as Marketing Director of a Sotheby's International Realty affiliate in the Caribbean, where he spent nearly a decade.

In Sint Maarten and Anguilla, Phil built a marketing operation from scratch — growing the brand's social presence from 200 to over 15,000 followers, producing drone video before it was standard practice, and creating luxury property content that reached international audiences. When Hurricane Irma devastated the island in 2017, Phil returned with his camera to document the truth — a video that spread widely and showed what real storytelling powered by integrity looks like.

That blend of creative instinct, technical skill, and strategic thinking followed him to The Corcoran Group in Miami Beach, then to Coldwell Banker Realty in New Jersey and New York, where today he works directly with agents across 19 offices — consulting, training, building, and teaching.

The Hurricane Irma Documentary

When the media narrative about post-hurricane Sint Maarten didn't match reality, Phil returned to the island with his drone and camera to document the truth — the destruction and the resilience. The resulting video reached tens of thousands of viewers and showed what honest, purpose-driven content creation looks like.
